Glass towers and potholes. Mega malls and thrift stores. Graffiti and theater. Miniopolis. A city with growing pains causing so much agony that an all out societal war has started between the city's two driving forces: culture and capitalism.
The Urbz: Sims in the City is a set of games spinoff of the Sims series, targeting those urban-favoring (?) console gamers. The home console versions played more like a traditional Sims game with objectives, but the handheld ports, made by Griptonite Games, play more like RPGs with Sims mechanics, and I love them dearly.
The story of The Urbz: Sims in the City is that your Urb, a hapless janitor at King Tower, is suddenly fired and hastily arrested by the nefarious Daddy Bigbucks. Now, at the bottom of the social ladder, your Urb has to make friends and influence others, fighting for the respect of their Rep Group, all with the goal of protecting Miniopolis from Daddy Bigbucks's greedy schemes!
